Love me an Abby Jimenez love story. While it was sometimes painful how often the characters said “this can never work out”, it was still a crush-worth love story.

I always enjoy Carly Fortune books as the location of her books are a beautiful and accurate description of my father’s home town. We spent many summers in Barry’s Bay ( and still do!). Fortune’s description of the location and summer spent on the lake is such a remarkable memory of my childhood and adolescence spent in the ideal location. A must read for all those who have fond memories of a summer spent at the lake
