The illustrations were so beautiful. We liked how the story talked about how it was ok to be different.

My favorite part was when the dogsled driver helped keep them warm by giving them jackets, and the polar bears saved them from the ice.

This is such a sweet story. We loved cuddling up and reading this book together. The illustrations were amazing.

The 4th book in the cousins war series. This book follows Anne Neville during ‘The Cousins War’. This and the previous 2 books are based in the same time period but are from different peoples perspective. It is very interesting reading the story from different perspectives as your perception of characters changes depending on which book you are reading.

The audiobook I read through Cloud Library was a two part excerpt of the original (45 min each). When listening to it, you could hear the sound of the record playing (if you are old enough to know this reference). It was obviously not the whole book but a great sample of Joyce's stream of consciousness narration from a male and female character. Honestly, I'm not sure I want to know about everything that is going through someone's mind.

We liked that they used reindeer fur as coats, then they had a book where they could teleport back home

I liked this book cause it really made me think about life and I really like the quotes. My favourite one is it says “today is the oldest you’ve ever been and the youngest still ever be again” ~ anonymous
